My name is Kevin Laycock and I am the proprietor of Laycock's School of Motoring, which was established in March 2002. Since setting up the business I have continued to gain further qualifications in order to provide a higher quality of tuition.

I passed the Institute of Advanced Motorists Test in May 2002, followed by the DIAmond Advanced Motorists Test in August 2002, and the Special Diamond Advanced Test, the most stringent advanced driving test in the U.K., in January 2004. I was awarded a Diploma in Driving Instruction in May 2004, for which I had studied for two years.

Having obtained these last two qualifications, I am now qualified as a DIAmond Advanced Instuctor and I am one of only three instructors out of over 300 in the Sheffield area to hold this qualification.

I aim to use this experience and knowledge to help you pass your theory and hazard perception tests and ultimately obtain your full driving licence as soon as possible. During the twenty one years that I have been established I have helped hundreds of pupils to pass their test and have a  First Time Pass Rate of over 70%.
